Biography
I graduated with a BSc in Psychology in 2016 from İstanbul Şehir University, in Turkey. Then, in 2019, I completed my MA in Clinical Psychology in same university and become licensed clinical psychologist/psychotherapist in Turkey. In my master thesis I studied the relationship between perceived parenting styles and adulthood somatization, and alexithymia. Since then, I pursue my clinical practice in private clinics and as an online psychotherapist. In 2019, I’ve started my PhD in Psychology in University of Dundee.
Research
With my current PhD project, I am studying people with dissociative identity disorder, formerly known as multiple personality disorder. I am interested in first-person account of people with Dissociative Identity Disorder; what are the experiences they have related to DID; what are the symptoms they perceive they have?
