Funded postgraduate places to help drive economic growth

Talented students are to benefit from dozens of fully funded places in postgraduate courses ranging from ultra-low energy construction to comics and graphic novels at the University of Dundee. The Scottish Funding Council (SFC) has made 60 places available on eight specific Masters courses spanning health and wellbeing, engineering and the creative industries in order to help develop a high-level skills base in key sectors in the Scottish economy. Artists, critics and curators from the UK and China will next week convene at the University of Dundee’s Cooper Gallery to reflect on the first phase of a major international exhibition of Scottish art in Shanghai. Characters out in force for DeeCon

Superheroes, Stormtroopers and samurai, cuddly creatures and other characters from the world of anime, comics and games will gather at the University of Dundee this Saturday for the largest DeeCon held to date. Dundee the UK’s best in Times Higher Education '150 Under 50'

The University of Dundee has been revealed as the top ranking UK institution in the Times Higher Education '150 under 50 2016’, a ranking of the world’s top universities under 50 years of age. Characterising the seascape of the Tay

Scientists, environmental campaigners and policy makers will attempt to define and visualise the seascape of the Tay and Forth estuaries at a conference at the University of Dundee later this month. Seascape originally referred to works of art which depicted the sea, but the term has come to be used in planning contexts as a combination of adjacent land, coastline and sea within a specific area.
