Want to be an Architect and Urban Planner?
Our two year MArch with Urban Planning Part 2 course is unique in the UK, being jointly accredited by both the Architects Registration Board and Royal Town Planning Institute. It will enrich your professional skills, broadening your routes to employment and develop you as new kind of Architect/Planner - a hybrid professional, responsive to the future nature of work in the built environment.
You may apply to our MArch with Urban Planning Part 2 at Year 4 (as an ARB/RIBA Part 1 equivalent graduate), or transfer onto the course having completed Year 4 of our Masters in Architecture.

Architecture students at the University of Dundee explore a variety of architectural design projects in all levels of the course, which range from simple shelters to the complexity of urban regeneration and takes students to various locations in the UK and abroad.

Research in the built environment focuses on space, and the myriad architectural praxes that shape it and give it its qualities, structures, and uses. Research is currently focused around two inter-related themes
